Hello, I’m Joshua.
This website of mine serves as a digital garden of what I’m learning and building. It is the means by which I can store and retrieve my notes at will.
Anything that is highlighted like this, you can hover over to glean context without navigating away. The sidebar should be self explanatory, but if you want to try and search for something more specific - use Ctrl + K or click the Search button at the top right.
“What is this wizardry…”
I use a program called Obsidian to take and organise notes (see Note Taking). I then push my notes to a private github repo, with some automations involving cloudflare and a modified version of Quartz 5 to automatically deploy changes. Any notes that I flag as publish = true are made visible on this site after I review the publish list.
A few of my notes are polished; most are just seedlings that I’ll tend to over time.
I’ve also left some information about myself in a more professional capacity, which you can find at About Me.
Finding your way
- Search - press
Ctrl+K, or use the search box from the navbar. - Graph - at the right side of each page; it shows how notes connect.
- Explorer - the file tree on the right.
